CSO is exploring alternative approaches to Tier 1. To inform this initiative, schools have been asked to consider participating in a pilot study.

Please contact your Consultant or Rosemary Vellar if you wish to be part of the pilot program in 2013.
Elements of the pilot
** Schools complete a Compliance checklist
** Schools use the O drive folders to store their documents related to the regulatory requirements
** Schools hyperlink their evidence (entered on the Compliance checklist) to the O drive folders
** Education Officer (School Review and Development) will assess the school's compliance based on the contents of the completed checklist and the evidence accessed through the O drive. The Education Officer will provide a brief report to the School's Consultant based on these findings.
** The school's Consultant will meet with the school Principal (in Term 4) and complete a report on the status of the school's compliance based on:
-- the school's documentation
-- the outcome of the Education Officer's report
-- the conversation that ensues.
Pilot schools are not
required to complete the online audit tool.
